Regular organising meet for this years Bristol anarchist bookfair, on 7 May at Hamilton House, Stokes Croft.
We meet Thursday 10 March, from 7 to 9pm, at The Smiling Chair, 40 Stokes Croft, BS1,which is opposite Classics freeshop.
On the agenda this week
1. Updates on stalls booked so far; workshops proposals; venue issues; kids space, bookfair cafe, equipment hire.
2. Plus publicity distro, fundraisers & finances, after-party, banner drops, other events, and much more!
If you are an anarchist radical with some spare time on your hands, come along and get involvement – there is much to do to make Bristol’s premier explicitly political event a roaring success.
If you cant get along there’s still many ways to help – we need help distroing posters & flyers far and wide across the south west (drop in to the meting and get some), volunteers are needed in the bookfair cafe and kids space, help needed with set up and take down on the day. We’d also welcome colourful, angry banners for hanging up around town. Just get in touch.
Bookfair publicity is now printed, see the colour images, and print off your own black and white posters from here.
See partial list of other events on in the week before the bookfair here.
